This recipe is for 1+ year old babies. Green gram (moong) have fresh flavor and nutrients. It contains protein ,vitamin B1, B2 and vitamin C. It is also reach in calcium and iron. You can use any sprout for khichdi. Sprouts are the power food.
2 tbsp Rice
1/2 tsp Ghee or butter
1 tsp Onion (finely chopped)
Turmeric powder
- Ingredients:
2 tbsp Rice
1/2 tsp Ghee or butter
1 tsp Onion (finely chopped)

- Method:
- Wash rise two times and mix it with sprouts.
- Heat ghee in a pan and stir fry onions.
- Add rice and sprouts.
- Add a pinch of turmeric powder and salt to taste.
- Pour 1 cup of water to it.
- Cook it for 15 mins on low flame.
- Serve warm.
