You can take any pulse to make a clear soup like toor dal, mung dal, masoor dal.

- Ingredients:
2 tbsp toor dal
Turmeric powder
Lemon juice
1/2 tsp Jaggery
- Method:
- Wash toor dal twice and soak it in to hot water for 15 mins.
- Add pinch of turmeric powder and salt to taste.
- Pressure cook the dal for 10 mins on low flame.
- When dal is done strain the water from dal .
- Add some lemon juice and jaggery.
- Reheat the soup for 2 mins.
- Now soup is ready to serve.
- Note:
Turmeric powder is a medicine for cold.
