This recipe is fore 8+ months old babies. Broken wheat is full of dietary fibers and also has high level of vitamin E , B vitamins and some antioxidants too. Spinach contains omega-3, fatty acids, loaded with flavonoids, iron and it's protective against eye disease. So this combo can make a power food.
- Ingredients:
5 Spinach leaves
1/2 Carrot
Black pepper powder
- Method:
- Wash broken wheat and veges .
- Chop carrot and spinach finely.
- Soak broken wheat in 1/2 cup of hot water for 15 mins.
- Don't discard the water.
- Add a pinch of black pepper powder and salt to taste.
- Cook broken wheat and veges together on low flame
- Cook it for 15 mins or until it become soft in texture.
- Serve it with fresh homemade curd.
