Here is another easy to digest and stomach full filling recipe.It's best when baby is down with a fever or stomach ache. you can also use it for a daily meal.
- Ingredients:
2 tbsp Moong daal (or green moong daal)
2 tbsp Rice
1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
1/2 tsp Black pepper powder
Mix vegetables(finely chopped)
1/2 tsp Ghee
- Method:
- Mix daal and rice.Rinse twice.
- Soak it into 1 1/2 cup of hot water for 15 mins.
- Don't discard the water.
- Take ghee in heavy bottom pan or cooker.
- Stir fry vegs.(carrot, potato and peas).
- Add salt to taste and black pepper powder.
- Add daal and rice.
- Cook it on low flame for 15 mins.
- Mesh it roughly when khichdi is done.
- Serve Warm.
